My son often asks that his birthday party be a Pokemon theme. I try to make new crafts from one time to the next, but it’s not always obvious! You probably remember these:
- Pikachu party bags
- Nintendo 3DS Birthday Invitation
- How to make a crochet Pokeball
- Pikachu Magnetic Board
So this year, for supper, I made a “Pokemon Pizza Bar”.
I sat down with my son and we brainstorm ideas to find these names for the ingredients. I think we’ve had as much fun as the day of the birthday!
So let’s make this! This post contains some affiliate links for your convenience and at no extra cost to you. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
Required material to make the Pokemon pizza bar
How to make the Pokemon pizza bar
First, print the file on white cardstock (note that the pictures are in French, but the file is also available in English).
Then cut by following the dotted lines.
Using a paper trimmer with a scoring blade, make a line in the center (2 inches from the edge).
By making a score this way, the cardstock will bend more easily.
And here’s our little card for our Pizza bar. Are you able to guess what is “grated Pikachu”? Let’s see a little further…;)
- Sliced Caterpie: Green olives
- Pieces of Torchic: chicken
- Oddish’s leaves: green peppers
- Paras’ Mushroom: of course, mushroom!
- Floette’s Petals: Pepperoni
- Charmander’s spit: pizza sauce
- Stunfish Dough: Pita bread (pizza bread)
And last, but not least:
- Grated Pikachu: grated cheese 😀
The children had a lot of fun with these themes. If you also want to decorate your table (better than I did myself!! I didn’t have enough time! I am sure you understand me!!) Here are some ideas I found for you:
