DIY balsa sled for your Christmas tree

It’s the 5th day of the 12 Christmas Crafts Challenge and today, I’ll show you how to make another balsa ornament for your Christmas tree. This time, it will be a little festive sled.

From December 1st and until Christmas, I will make one video every 2 days.

Today, we’ll be making a cute and festive sled made of balsa to decorate your Christmas tree.

What you’ll need to make the balsa sled



  • Balsa 1/16″
  • Masking tape
  • Jute twine
  • Crop-a-dile (optionnal)
  • Glue gun and glue sticks
  • Red and silver cardstocks
  • Red paint and paint brush
  • Tombow glue
  • Dollar store ornaments
