This DIY came from the last $100 Room Challenge I did. This challenge requires that we makeover one room, in one month, for less than $100. So last September, I decided to makeover my bedroom.

When doing this challenge, you always try to find things you already own or that are at a very low price. So when I stumbled upon these Euro size pillows that were only 4,99$ (regular price was 40$!!!) I bought them right away! They were the perfect match to bring colour to my bedroom.

FYI, Euro size pillows are square pillows that usually are 26" x 26". The thing is that I didn't have pillows of that size and no money in the challenge to buy some.

How to make throw pillow covers from euro size pillowcase

The trick is to insert the throw pillow diagonally in the euro pillow, like this:

Ok, now, I have a confidence to make: my husband thought of that! He can be so practical sometimes! I'm more the kind of person who's thinking too hard!!! lol

Once the throw pillow is inside the euro cover, simply fold the opposite corners towards the center like this and tie them with safety pins.
