DIY felt crocus flowers for spring with free SVG

I'm giving you the free SVG cut file to make felt crocus flowers (or paper flowers) to brighten up your home for spring or add to a wreath.

I love making wreaths to decorate my front door. In fact, my wreaths have always had the same base, a grapevine wreath.

In the latest one I made, I added some terracotta pots and I simply changed the kinds of flowers in the pots. Easy peasy!

This year, I decided to make the flowers myself. Since paper is not a great idea to put outside, I decided to make them out of felt.

And I decided to make crocus flowers. I love these flowers that pierce the snow when spring arrives. They make me happy every time!

What type of felt to use?

There are so many different types of felt and you should know that not all of them will cut well with a Cricut.

In short, if you have the Cricut brand felt, you'll have no problem cutting it with the fine point blade of the Explore and Maker family and you'll even be able to cut it with the Cricut Joy!

But if you have Craft felt, you'll need the rotary blade of the Maker.

If you want to know more about this, check out my article about The different types of felt and how you can cut each with your Cricut.

If you read "fine point blade" and "rotary blade" and are confused about which blade they are and want to know more about what all the Cricut blades, wheels and tips are for, you can check out this post.

In there, you'll even find an opt-in form to download my free Cricut blades, wheels and tips cheat sheet.
