What is a Cricut Mystery Box? I explain here what it is, how to get one and if it is profitable or not!

Cricut Mystery boxes are collections of Cricut materials, tools and other items at a greatly discounted price.

They are called “Mystery Boxes” because what’s inside is supposed to be a mystery! I say “supposed” because by following my posts, you will know what the mystery boxes contain before you buy them to really make an informed choice if it is for you or not!

What’s so special about Mystery Boxes?

Mystery Boxes are filled with materials and accessories that often total over $150 (MSRP, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price) and are sold for $49 to $59 (at the time of writing this article).

They often contain a small Cutie (as in the photo below).

Buying a Mystery Box is the only way to get these little Cuties. Each Mystery Box offers a Cutie of a different colour which makes each of them, a unique item to collect!

Each Mystery Box has a name that reflects a special theme and gives a clue to the style of materials and accessories it contains as well as the color of the Cutie.

Who can buy the Mystery Boxes?

The purchase of Mystery Boxes is reserved for Cricut Access members. Being a Cricut Access member also comes with many other advantages. I invite you to check out this page to see all the details.

In addition, depending on where you live, Mystery Boxes are not offered for sale at the same time and are not available everywhere.

There are Mystery Boxes for Canada and the United States
And there are those for France, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland.

Is there always a Cutie in every Mystery Box?

If the description of the Mystery Box says it contains a Cutie, it will be there! Often, it is the boxes at $ 59 / 59 Euros that contain a Cutie. Less expensive ones don’t have one (with some exceptions!)

When will the next Mystery Box be released?

I think that’s the real mystery of the Mystery Box!! You never really know when they’re going to come out and they come out of stock at lightning speed! Often in less than an hour! (Hence the importance of signing up above to receive my email notifications!)

As explained above, the Mystery Boxes from the United States and Canada are not the same as those for France, United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland and are not on sale at the same time either!
