The kids made this gift for their little cousin. It’s easy to do and cheap but mostly, it keeps them busy (while having fun of course!).
My nephew’s bedroom has a robot theme and it was not easy for his mom to find things to decorate the bedroom that went with the theme and had the right colours!

She already had frames that she bought at IKEA on sale but they weren’t the right colour and had a lot of imperfections.
And after a little sanding (I think the almost look better that way!!! Good to know for another project!)
After, I applied 3 layers of dark blue paint that I already had and used for the wines crates shelves in my new craft room. Again, I didn’t use a primer, I’m not patient enough for that!!!
I also added a layer of acrylic varnish to protect the paint since I used a wall finish. Since the frames won’t be handled a lot, there shouldn’t be any problem!
Meanwhile, the kids made-up cute looking robots using Perler Beads
On the Kandipatterns website, it’s possible to make your own design on the computer before doing it with the Perler Beads.
So, the little cousin got 4 nice robots
Finally, my daughter made the backgrounds using her tablet.
